About PlayDaily
PlayDaily is a small, independent collection of classic games that run entirely in your web browser.
What this site is
PlayDaily exists because most casual games on the web are buried behind app installs, account walls or endless loading screens. Every game here is a single web page. It loads in a moment, it works on a phone as well as a desktop, and it needs nothing from you beyond opening it. There is no sign-up, no download and no notification asking you to come back tomorrow.
The collection currently has ten games, chosen because they share two qualities: the rules take seconds to understand, and the game stays interesting well past the first few rounds. They are split roughly into number puzzles, word puzzles and quick arcade challenges.
How the games are made
Each game is written in plain HTML, CSS and JavaScript with no external libraries. That keeps the pages fast and means they keep working offline once loaded. Where a game involves a puzzle — Sudoku, the crossword, the word search — the puzzles are generated or authored to be genuinely solvable, not randomly scattered letters. Where a game has an opponent, such as Tic-Tac-Toe, the harder difficulty levels play properly rather than making obvious mistakes.
Scores and saved data
A few games remember your best result using your browser's local storage. That information stays on your own device — it is never sent to us and it is never shared. Clearing your browser data will remove it.
